Board of Commissioners
One of the key advantages of being served by a local utility district is the opportunity for close communication between elected commissioners and the community they serve - customers like you.
Skyway Water & Sewer District is governed by a three-member Board of Commissioners. Each commissioner is elected by District voters to a six-year term. If a seat becomes vacant, the Board appoints a qualified individual to serve until the next regular election.
Together, the Board sets policy and makes decisions that guide all aspects of water and sewer service delivery. While the Board provides strategic direction, a professional staff manages the District's daily operations.
The Board is scheduled to meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. All meetings are open to the public.
